Fall is Fun

Another fun weekend spent with Ally and Sierra. We enjoyed much of the outdoors on this fall day.  Walking along the greenbelt we fed the ducks, collected leaves for a craft, and rushed to the nearest restroom in sight, hand in hand hoping we'll make it in time.  Chuck and I giggled along the way as we watched those two running and skipping ahead of us full of energy we wished we still had.

It's hard to tell in this photo but we were showing off our art project that involved the leaves we collected along the greenbelt . We had an awesome day!

A New Chapter

Life goes by fast! Years ago when anyone would ask me how old my little sister was, it was always an easy question to answer. "Maribeth is 10 years old!". By the time she reached the age of 16, I still wanted to give the same answer. "She's 10....years...ol...uh...um...well, actually, she's 16 years old. What!?" All that to say, this year I realized how grown up Beth is and how much fun it is for her to no longer be 10 years of age. We didn't get to spend as much time with her before she left for college but the time we did have with her was special. We've been able to share more openly the struggles in each of our lives but to also turn around and encourage each other. Here are a few of hundreds of memories captured of Beth as well as a glimpse of who she is.
Beth is about 10 in this pic and I'm not a morning person.
Beth loves animals.
She loves the fairground rides.
Maribeth plays the fiddle and guitar and sings beautifully.
She loves frogs and likes to eat them too!
She loves family.
She loves fun.
She Loves her Brother-in-Law, Chuck.
I think she loves her sisters...

Off to Eternity Bible College in Southern California. Have fun, Beth! We love you and miss you!

The Mouser Girlies

About once a month in the last 2 years, our nieces, Ally and Sierra, come over to stay the night with us. We always have a blast! It's our tradition to watch Wallace and Gromit while baking chocolate chip cookies, read and sing before bed time on the sleeper sofa or in a fort, and then wake up the next day for yummy breakfast at the Riverside Pantry down the road from where we live. We look forward for when Savannah Beck can join in with us someday soon!

There are dozen's of photos to share but this pretty much sums up what takes place nearly every time the girls come over. Can't imagine life without those girlies.
