GNAR

I have no idea what it stands for but it's a 1500 foot high hill and a steep one above Lucky Peak that a few of the speed flying crazies like to fly. It's a beautiful view even from halfway up. I haven't made it to the top yet but one of these days, one of these days...how about I share with you when that happens, one of these days.

The landing area, as you can see, can be quite wet and muddy. Chuck did land where it was dry.

Some areas of the Boise River above Lucky Peak just barely trickle through this time of the year. But It's amazing to see how high that water can get in the spring time. There was one spot where a crashed truck, now in pieces, was discovered but no one seems to know to whom it belonged to or if anyone was even in the vehicle when it crashed. Kind of creepy. Anyway, it was a fun day of hiking, flying, and enjoying a beautiful view. Not to mention the work out! Chuck hikes to the top of all these mountains and hills but a lot of the time I don't. Someone needs to take the pictures from the bottom, right? So for me, it was a big deal to hike even half way up and I was able to take some decent pics so I guess that excuse flew out the door just now.

Uncle Chuck spells F-U-N

It seems that there is never a dull moment when Chuck has entered the room!

Family Time

On halloween eve, Chuck and I enjoyed some time spent with my family. My younger sister, Mandy, prepared for us a rich pumpkin soup with dessert tasting biscuits. In between bites and playing a round of Carcassonne, the doorbell would ring by scary to sweet looking characters asking for candy. Mom made us an amazing, but belly aching from eating too much of, homemade apple pie that we enjoyed after our game that Chuck and Mark brutally lost to because my last piece played zeroed out all of their big points!  I'm still trying to figure out if I feel about it.
